Raffles, Giveaways and Turn Order
Turn on Remove picked from list to run a raffle: each pick takes the winners out of the list, so nobody wins twice. Shuffle list rewrites your list in random order, which handles turn order, seating charts and splitting work fairly.
Duplicated lines count as multiple entries. That sounds like a bug until you want it: paste someone three times and you've weighted their chances on purpose, exactly like extra raffle tickets. Every line has an equal chance per entry, using the same unbiased shuffle described on the FAQ page. Drawing numbers instead of names? That's the number generator.
